Auto Storage Yard Fire Flares Again in Nevada
Henderson firefighters are again dousing an auto yard fire in an industrial area near the U.S. 95 freeway.
Fire officials say the blaze flared up Wednesday morning, hours after firefighters were summoned a little after 7 p.m. Tuesday. A passer-by had noticed flames at the business on West Sunset Road.
Firefighters say several cars were involved.
Strong winds helped spread the fire across about a half-acre of the auto yard, but no injuries are reported and neighboring properties haven’t been damaged.
Fire investigators aren’t sure yet how the fire started, but the cause is being called accidental.
