3 Cars Set on Fire in Bend, Oregon
Police in Bend, Ore., are investigating arson fires that damaged three cars parked in the driveways of homes early Sunday.
Police were called to the first home around 1:50 a.m. Sunday after a passerby reported a car on fire. A second car fire was reported about an hour later. Witnesses reported seeing a man run from the area of the cars.
Officers searching the area found a third car on fire. Residents asleep in that home had to be evacuated because of concerns that the fire would spread to the home. Bend firefighters put out the fire.
