Ice Delays Firefighters in Washington House Fire
A steep, icy driveway made it difficult for firefighters to battle a house fire Sunday evening near Mount Spokane, Wash.
Some trucks couldn’t make it to the scene, and firefighters had to pump water about a quarter of a mile up a hill.
Four residents safely escaped. The home in north Spokane County was severely damaged.
