Lawsuit Filed in Montana High School Hazing Incident
The parents of one of the victims of a hazing that took place on a Glacier High freshman football bus in September has filed a lawsuit against the Kalispell, Mont., school board, several school officials and coaches, and four boys the lawsuit says took part in an assault.
The Daily Inter Lake in a story published Saturday reports that the lawsuit filed in Lake County District court sites negligence by officials, emotional and mental distress.
The lawsuit seeks punitive damages as well as costs connected to the family moving out of the area to another part of the state.
Three boys were charged with misdemeanor assault. One admitted guilt, one admitted guilt to misdemeanor disorderly conduct, and the trial for a third started yesterday.
