Utah Sheriff Reports Spate of Car Burglaries
The Davis County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after taking reports of 16 car burglaries at nine Utah homes in one morning.
Officials say the burglaries happened in West Point between 25 North and 250 North, and 1660 West and 1800 West.
A neighborhood resident who was taking his dog out to walk about 5 a.m. Monday says a brown-haired woman dressed in all black said “hello” to him before getting into a car and speeding off.
The man believes the woman is the suspect in the burglaries. Her car is described as an older-model, black BMW.
All the burglarized vehicles had been left unlocked.
