Nevada Highway Crash Cause Investigated
Early this morning the Nevada Highway Patrol was dispatched to an injury accident on highway US 50 East, approximately 4 miles east of Carson City.
The preliminary accident investigation details indicate that a 2009 Black Lexus driven by Kenneth Woolsey Isaac, a 48-year-old Zephyr resident, was traveling westbound on US 50 when he crossed over into the eastbound lanes striking a 2005 Chevrolet Equinox driven by Gustavo Galindo Cordova, a 83-year-old Silver Springs resident.
Isaac was transported via care flight to Reno Renown Medical center where he was admitted. Cordova was taken by ambulance to Carson Tahoe Hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
A medical reason is being looked at for possibly being the cause of the accident.
