Mispackaging Prompts Alaska Clif Bars Recall
Clif Bars and Co. is recalling some mispackaged products.
The Alaska Department of Environmental Conservation says in a release that the recall covers 6-packs of Coconut Chocolate Chip Cliff Bars that were packaged in White Chocolate Macadamia Clif Bar wrappers.
The state says many of the mislabeled bars were included inside Coconut Chocolate Chip 6-pack boxes.
People allergic to coconut may have a reaction.
The state confirms the mislabeled products were distributed in Alaska, but there’s been no report of illness. The company says the product was sent to limited Target and Walmart stores, ad has a “Best By” date of 16MAY13G1.
