California Woman Arrested for 6th DUI
A California Highway Patrol officer has arrested a Napa woman on suspicion of driving under the influence for the sixth time.
The Santa Rosa Press Democrat reports that 45-year-old Ixchel Susan Rollins was pulled over as she drove a BMW on Highway 101 in Petaluma at about 2:15pm Friday.
CHP Officer Marcus Hawkins says Rollins failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody on suspicion of felony DUI as well as violating probation and driving on a suspended license.
Hawkins says Rollins had previous convictions for DUI in 1991, 2000, 2006 and 2007. CHP officials say she was booked into Sonoma County Jail in lieu of $30,000 bail. Rollins is due in court Wednesday but it was not immediately clear whether she had retained an attorney.
