New Mexico Officials to Hold ‘Bedbug’ Conference
City officials are holding a special conference aimed at fighting bedbugs in Albuquerque, N.M.
The Albuquerque Environmental Health Department is scheduled to hold the conference Wednesday at the South Broadway Cultural Center.
Officials say the conference will focus on bedbug biology, control measures, and information on preventing and detecting infestations.
Mark DiMenna, deputy director of the Environmental Health Department, says city officials recognize that there’s a bedbug problem in Albuquerque and officials are working to fight the problem.
The conference is open to the public.
