Copper Wire Stolen From New Mexico Church
Congregants at a Rio Rancho,N.M., church had to make do with natural light after thieves stole copper wire that provided power to the building.
Television station KRQE reports that the Rev. Ken DeSoto discovered the theft at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church when he arrived about an hour before Sunday service.
DeSoto says someone ripped two of three lengths of copper wire out from the power supply box to the church.
DeSoto say he’s left wondering what kind of a person would steal from a church.
