Flooded Colorado Businesses Struggle Without Insurance
More than 20 businesses hit by flooding in Manitou Springs, Colo., are struggling because of a lack of insurance.
City officials say some of the businesses that suffered losses in Friday’s devastating flood did not have flood insurance because they couldn’t get it or couldn’t afford it.
According to the Colorado Springs Gazette, some of those businesses will have to rely on government grants or other types of help to recover.
