Truck Taken in Montana Business Burglary Recovered
A truck stolen from a Kalispell company has been recovered, but the company’s tools are still missing.
Flathead County Sheriff Chuck Curry says the Ford F-450 service truck was found abandoned in the parking lot of the Evergreen Boys and Girls Club. Someone who heard about the burglary at Glacier Stone Supply spotted it and called the sheriff’s office.
Curry tells The Daily Inter Lake on Tuesday that the truck didn’t have any significant damage, but numerous tools were removed from the storage compartments.
The company initially said the total value of the lost items was about $100,000. With the recovery of the truck, Curry says the company is now missing about $43,000 in tools and equipment including welders, air compressors, power tools and hand tools.
