Mitchell Sponsors Incubator Program to Drive San Diego Tech Startups
Mitchell International announced the launch of Mitchell@EvoNexus, a Mitchell-sponsored San Diego business incubation program operating within the CommNexus incubator, EvoNexus.
The new program enables local startups to accelerate their product and business development by providing financial support, use of co-working space, access to mentors and collaboration opportunities.
Mitchell@EvoNexus targets early-stage technology entrepreneurs working on big ideas with the potential to reshape their industries. Mitchell is particularly interested in startups addressing improving driving behavior through the use of vehicle telematics, improving injury recovery through the use of health analytics, and in creative ways to improve outcomes in auto property and injury. Mitchell is also interested in supporting companies working in spaces such as big data, mobility for insurance claims and consumer health.
Mitchell and EvoNexus are now inviting companies to apply for participation in the Mitchell@EvoNexus program via a call for submissions, which opens July 31, 2014.
Companies admitted into the joint incubator program have the opportunity to receive seed funding up to $250,000.
Early-stage technology startups who are interested in reviewing additional information and / or applying prior to the August 31, 2014 deadline can access the application at: http://www.commnexus.org/evonexus/apply/
