No Cause Given in June Pueblo Blaze That Caused $200,000 Damage
There’s still no answer to what caused a major fire in downtown Pueblo, Colo., in June.
The June 3 fire started at Johnson’s Sport & Ski and Office Systems Inc. and caused some $200,000 in damage.
The Pueblo Chieftain reports that insurance company investigators have finished work and could not identify a cause of the fire. Neither could Pueblo fire officials.
All agree the fire began in the attic and spread to other buildings. No one was hurt, but several businesses were damaged.
