Church Fire in Southwest Washington Caused $1.5M Damage
Investigators are looking for witnesses and tips after a weekend fire caused $1.5 million damage to a church in the southwest Washington community of Hazel Dell.
The Columbian reports that no one was inside Amazing Grace Baptist Church when the fire started early Sunday.
Clark County’s senior deputy fire marshal, Susan Anderson, says officials believe the fire started outside the building at the back of the church.
