Whitewater Rafting Business Liability Insurance Requirements Reduced
The amount of insurance required for whitewater boating outfitters at Colorado’s Dinosaur National Monument has been lowered.
The National Park Service raised alarms last year when it announced changes that included increasing Dinosaur outfitters’ general liability insurance requirement from $1 million to $5 million.
The Grand Junction Daily Sentinel reports some outfitters are worried price increases will make the sport available only to the elite.
