Oregon County Adds ‘Snowbulance’ to Help Backcountry Patients
The Baker County Sheriff’s Office is adding another “snowbulance” to its search and rescue unit.
It’s a rescue sled on skis that’s used to transport victims out of the wilderness.
The Baker City Herald reports the snow ambulance will increase the rescue unit’s ability to quickly get accident victims out of the backcountry.
