Colorado Man Arrested on 12th DUI Charge
Longmont, Colo., police have arrested a man on suspicion of drunken driving for the 12th time since 1986.
Boulder County District Attorney Stan Garnett says the arrest serves as an example why the state needs a felony DUI law.
According to the Longmont Times-Call, a police report said Dan Brooks failed a field sobriety test following a traffic stop and was driving on a suspended license at the time of his arrest.
Brooks is charged with DUI and being in a possession of an open container.
