Mario Gomez Joins Bass & Associates Insurance Services

Rick Bass, President of Bass & Associates Insurance Services, a California based wholesale brokerage firm operating in California, Nevada and Arizona is happy to announce the partnership with Mario Gomez, formerly Vice President of Lemac and Associates. Mario brings more than 20 years experience in Wholesale Specialty and Surplus Lines Insurance. He started in insurance with INA in 1976 and has over 30 years experience in the industry.

Bass & Associates will continue to concentrate on workers’ compensation but will be expanding to other lines of insurance. As a workers’ compensation specialist we represent AIG, Zenith, Clarendon and SeaBright Insurance. In addition to providing efficient, reputable and professional service, we offer timely processing of applications and have the ability to offer same day quotes as well as underwrite new ventures, lapse in coverage, high mods and multi-state risks.

Mario Gomez is developing the Excess and Surplus Lines part of the company and will specialize in property and casualty insurance, focusing on hard-to-place general liability for contractors e.g., artisans, general contractors, wraps, as well as excess and umbrella coverage including transportation excess. Other general liability and property lines products include, restaurants/taverns/night clubs, hotels/motels, importers, manufacturing and fabrications and various other classes. On the property end we will be specializing on DIC coverage, wind, flood and earthquake.

Mr. Bass also stated that they are in the process of starting a new company, “Maverick Marketing Insurance Services”. They will continue to operate under Bass & Associates until the proper paper work is filed.
