Arrowhead Announces New Carrier For Insurance Agents E&O Product

San Diego, CA, 03/06/2008 – ARROWHEAD General Insurance Agency, Inc. has announced its independent property and casualty insurance agents errors and omissions product will be underwritten with an “A” (XIII) rated carrier by A. M. Best Company. Offered nationwide, it is designed for agencies with up to $25 million in revenue. Eligible agencies include retailers, wholesalers, managing general agencies, specialist firms and hard to place firms. Coverage will be offered on both a primary and excess basis.

“Our new carrier has allowed us to broaden our reach to independent insurance agents,” said Arrowhead’s Professional Liability Program’s President Ed Velasquez. “With limits up to $5 million for each claim and a minimum premium of $5,000, our target market has increased significantly.”

Policy highlights include punitive damages, predecessor firm and personal injury coverage. There is also a mediation provision, which reduces the retention.
