Stephanie Zambrana Named Assistant Vice President and Controller of Atlas General Insurance Services
San Diego, CA, 1/30/2012 – Stephanie Zambrana has been named Assistant Vice President and Controller of Atlas General Insurance Services, a workers’ compensation specialty general agency with 40+ employees in San Diego, CA.
“We are privileged to have such an experienced and knowledgeable person like Stephanie leading our Finance and Accounting Department,” said Mike Mathews, Atlas’ President and Chief Operating Officer. “Stephanie brings an innovative approach to premium accounting and collections that puts us in a better position to manage insured payments on behalf of our carriers.”
Stephanie brings a great deal of financial knowledge and insurance industry experience to Atlas. Stephanie’s insurance career started at Arrowhead General Insurance Agency as a staff accountant responsible for multiple lines of insurance programs. In 2005, Arrowhead acquired Cypress Point Insurance Services and Stephanie was advanced to Assistant Controller for Cypress Point. Cypress Point was eventually transitioned into Arrowhead General and Stephanie was advanced to Vice President of Premium Accounting at Arrowhead General.
Stephanie has over 13 years insurance experience holding various financial positions within Wholesale and Managing General Agencies.
