Investigation Solutions & American Claims Management Continue Crusade Against Insurance Fraud

San Diego, CA, 5/31/12 – Investigation Solutions, Inc., the special investigations subsidiary of American Claims Management, Inc., recently investigated a highly suspicious personal auto claim, which ultimately led to multiple arrests. The intense scrutiny to which the investigations company applies to all suspicious claims has resulted in eight arrests to
date in 2012, saving its clients over $245,000.

American Claims Management first received a report of a hit and run rear-end traffic accident that reportedly caused injuries to the insured driver and two passengers. The
adjuster referred the claim to the Investigation Solutions team because the loss was reported on a new policy.

A thorough investigation uncovered numerous prior claims for the claimants. The investigators also had the vehicle inspected by a biomechanical expert who verified that the minimal impact from the accident could not have been caused by another vehicle but rather a cement structure. The settlement demand was denied and the case was referred to the Fraud Division of the California Department of Insurance.

The Department of Insurance agreed with Investigation Solutions and on May 4, 2012 arrested all three claimants with two counts of felony insurance fraud.
