Atlas General Insurance Services Named One of the Best Places to Work in San Diego in 2012 by the San Diego Business Journal

San Diego, CA, 8/22/12 – The San Diego Business Journal announced the rankings last week for the San Diego Business Journal’s Best Places to Work in San Diego in 2012 Awards. Atlas General Insurance Services was named a finalist in the 2012 Best Places to Work in San Diego Awards in the Small Business Category. This is the second year that Atlas has entered the program and the second year that they have been recognized as a finalist.

The Best Places to Work program is dedicated to recognizing San Diego’s best employers and salutes companies that have worked hard to create environments where their employees enjoy going to work. Some of the best practices that finalists possessed included rewarding hard-working employees, investing in employees, offering wellness, nutrition and fitness programs, and providing opportunities for team building and social activities.

After entering the program, companies went through a two-part survey process designed to pinpoint areas of strength and weakness. This included a company survey to evaluate company policies and practices and an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The assessment determined the eligibility for the Best Places to Work list and determined the finalists and winners.

In addition to this achievement, Atlas General Insurance Services was recently ranked #3 in the Small Company Category for San Diego’s Healthiest Companies in 2012 by the San Diego Business Journal.
