American Claims Management Rebrands Pacific Claims Services to Marquee Managed Care Solutions
San Diego, CA, 02/01/13 – American Claims Management, Inc. (ACM), a national third party administrator, has rebranded one of its subsidiary services from Pacific Claims Services (PCS) to Marquee Managed Care Solutions.
PCS provided full service medical management solutions for the California workers’ compensation market. The new company, Marquee, will continue providing management of medical provider networks as well as bill review, utilization review, oversight of a lien resolution unit and various other medical cost containment programs.
“The new brand name exemplifies the organization’s commitment to be the best in the business while expanding on its scope of services and industry expertise,” said Jayne Miller, Vice President of Managed Care. “Our focus in 2013 is to continue creating innovative cost saving products and services that better meet our client’s needs.”
Marquee’s bill review and utilization review integrated platform works to ensure that only appropriate and authorized treatment is paid. “Our company’s approach to customized MPN’s and retrospective bill review guarantees we maximize our discounts and put those dollars back in our client’s pockets,” said Miller.
Marquee created the Negotiations and Resolutions Unit (NRU) to handle its detailed lien tracking. NRU conducts research, uncovering any loopholes, and then formulates a solid defense strategy prior to any settlement negotiation. Liens are both a cause and a result of the serious distress in the California workers’ compensation system. NRU averages savings greater than 50 percent below the Official Medical Fee Schedule.
