Tim Cloney Promoted to Director at Investigation Solutions

San Diego, Calif. (03/04/14) – Investigation Solutions, Inc. (ISI), a National multi-line field adjusting and investigation company specializing in uncovering fraudulent insurance claims, has promoted Tim Cloney to director. Prior to his promotion, Cloney was ISI’s manager of the Auto and Workers’ Compensation Special Investigations Unit (SIU) and oversaw all California field investigators.

With his new role, Cloney will direct the field investigations for all lines of business, which investigates suspicious claims and providers. Additionally, he will collaborate with law enforcement to prosecute and convict those that have committed fraud against ISI clients. “As the new director, my goal is to grow ISI into a nationally recognized investigation company by providing timely and high quality investigation and SIU services. Our clients can be assured that all suspected fraud claims are being thoroughly investigated when appropriate,” said Cloney.

Cloney, a retired highway patrol officer has 25 years of experience in the claims industry. His professional designations include private investigator, private patrol operator and certified fraud examiner. He began his career as a commercial liability claims adjuster for Nationwide Insurance. He then served as the supervisor of field investigations for Liberty Mutual Insurance and as regional investigation manager for Gates McDonald. From 2000-2012 he owned a private investigation company focused on workers’ compensation, liability and fraud investigation services. Cloney’s contributions to the insurance industry include co-authoring training modules on liability and workers’ compensation for Liberty Mutual and the California Department of Insurance.
