Atlas General Insurance Services, LLC, Recognized as a Finalist for The San Diego Business Journal’s 2014 Healthiest Companies Awards
San Diego, Calif. (May 13, 2014) – Atlas General Insurance Services is pleased to announce that it has been named a finalist by San Diego Business Journal’s 2014 Healthiest Companies Awards. This is the third consecutive year that Atlas has been nominated and recognized for this award.
The Healthiest Companies Awards recognize companies that have fostered a supportive environment for their employees and their families. San Diego’s Healthiest Companies winners possess four characteristics: visible leadership support and involvement, significant investment in the wellness program, strategy for measuring the ROI, and a strong desire to create a company culture of well-being.
In order to qualify for the award, businesses were required to complete a survey that covered various health and wellness topics, including pay, promotions, healthcare, wellness programs, green solutions, hiring practices and more.
“We are honored to be recognized as a finalist by SDBJ for the third consecutive year,” said Bill Trzos, president and CEO at Atlas General. “We work hard to maintain a positive and healthy work environment for our employees and their families so we are especially thrilled to receive this award.”
