Milliman USA Opens New P/C Office in N.J.

Milliman USA, a global consulting and actuarial firm, has opened a new office to provide a full range of services to the property and casualty (P/C) insurance and re-insurance industries. The new Milliman office will consist of the senior consultants and support staff of Am-Re Consultants, Inc. in Princeton, N.J., following a decision by American Re-Insurance Company to withdraw from the consulting business.

The new Milliman unit will provide advice on mergers & acquisitions, actuarial pricing, reserving & modeling, and operational effectiveness, emphasizing in-depth claims, underwriting and process design/improvement services.

Among the senior consultants joining Milliman are William Azzara, Urban Leimkuhler, Jr. and Gail Ross.
