A motorcyclist from Keene, New Hampshire is nursing broken bones after a wild turkey flew into him and knocked him off his bike during the weekend.
State police said the turkey flew out of the woods and struck 62-year-old Frank Grimes as he drove on Route 12 in Westmoreland on Sunday. Grimes was flown to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon, where family members say he is being trated for six broken ribs and a broken shoulder blade.
