Fire Damages Virginia’s Chantilly Country Club
Investigators are trying to determine what caused a three-alarm fire at the Chantilly National Golf and Country Club in Virginia.
The blaze caused extensive damage to a building housing offices, a golf shop and a restaurant. There were no injuries.
Fairfax County firefighters responded to an alarm at the club shortly before 5 a.m. Wednesday. It took about an hour and a half to get the fire under control.
Officials say there was extensive water and smoke damage to both floors. Damage is estimated at $200,000.
