Bus Driver Injured after Crash with Wild Turkey
Connecticut State police say the driver of a passenger bus is recovering from injuries after a collision with a wild turkey in Southington.
The turkey and the Vermont Greyhound bus collided on Interstate 84 westbound on Thursday afternoon, near exit 32.
Troopers say the impact broke the bus’s windshield, sending glass shards into the driver’s face.
The bus was carrying 18 people and the driver was taken to Hartford Hospital for treatment.
