Four Hurt in Fire at Maryland Pharmaceutical Plant
Fire officials in Maryland say four people were injured in an electrical fire at a pharmaceutical plant.
The fire was reported about 1 p.m. Saturday at Pharmaceutics International.
Baltimore County Fire Department Lt. James Artis said four electricians were working in a power room when an electrical short occurred. One was burned from the waist up and suffered third-degree burns. Two suffered burns to their hands and arms, and the fourth had burns to the arms and neck.
Artis said all four were taken to the burn unit at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center.
