Massachusetts Man Charged with Starting Blaze
Authorities say a Hull, Massachusetts man intentionally started a blaze at the apartment building where he lived.
Police tell The Patriot Ledger that 51-year-old John Goguen is charged with arson of a dwelling house and attempted murder.
Goguen was sent to Bridgewater State Hospital for a psychiatric evaluation and is due back in court May 28.
Police did not release a possible motivation for starting the fire that was reported early Saturday morning.
Damage to the eight-unit building is estimated as high as $300,000. No one was hurt.
