Police: Virginia Man Falls in Sludge, Dies
Police in suburban Richmond Virginia say a worker has died after falling into a vat of sludge.
The death occurred early Saturday at a Henrico County water reclamation plant. Henrico Police Lt. D.C. Engels said the man fell into the semisolid material and had to be pulled out.
The worker’s identity has not been released.
The Occupational Safety & Health Administration is leading the investigation.
