Maryland Authorities Investigate Arson Spree
Maryland fire officials are investigating an arson spree amid farmland and single family homes.
Fire Capt. Oscar Garcia says eight arsons occurred in the span of four hours Tuesday in the Damascus area. The first was reported at about 3 a.m., and all were within a 11/2 mile radius of each other.
Garcia says bales of straw, mailboxes, a trash can and landscaping were involved in the fires, causing damage estimated at $25,000.
No one was injured.

Crime Solvers is offering a $1,000 cash reward to anyone with information leading to an arrest or indictment.
