Maine Teen Charged with Arson
A Gorham, Maine, teenagerhas been charged with arson for allegedly setting fire to a vacant building that serves as a popular hangout for skateboarders.
According to the state fire marshal’s office, 19-year-old Brandon Davis was arrested Wednesday at his home, where he lives with his mother.
Police said Davis and a 17-year-old friend were skateboarding at the abandoned Keddy Steel Mill building in Windham when the fire broke out.
Nearby residents reported the fire, and firefighters were able to contain it before it caused substantial damage to the building.
