Car Crashes into Steamroller in Northeastern Pennsylvania
Police in northeastern Pennsylvania say a driver had to be flown to the hospital after his car crashed into a steamroller on Interstate 80.
Authorities say the driver was headed westbound around 4:30 p.m. Thursday when he crashed into the steamroller, which was parked on the median near the Scotrun exit.
The Pocono Record reports that the car’s driver had to be flown to the hospital, but his condition has not been released.
The accident tied up traffic as the lanes were closed for about an hour as the wreck was being cleared.
