Pennsylvania Fruit Market Destroyed by Fire
Firefighters have been able to keep a 2,000-pound propane tank from exploding during a fire at a southwestern Pennsylvania fruit market.
Authorities say nobody has been hurt, but the fire just after midnight Monday morning has destroyed Frank’s Fruit Market in Bullskin Township. That’s near Connellsville, about 35 miles southeast of Pittsburgh.
A state police fire marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze.
U.S. Route 119 had been closed for a time while firefighters battled the blaze along the highway.
