Worker Falls 4 Stories at New York City’s Fordham Law School
A worker has fallen four stories down an elevator shaft at the construction site of Fordham University’s law school in Manhattan.
A Fire Department spokesman says the accident happened at 11 a.m. Monday at Fordham’s Lincoln Center campus.
The worker was taken to St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital with serious injuries. His name was not immediately released.
Fordham said in a statement that the university hopes he makes a rapid and complete recovery.
