Family of Poland Motorcyclist Files Lawsuit
The family of a Poland man who died in a crash while riding his motorcycle has filed a wrongful death lawsuit against the driver of the car involved in the collision and three insurance companies.
Kevin Lemm was killed and his passenger wife, Elisha, was severely injured in the crash last July caused when a car crossed the center line.
The Sun Journal reports the lawsuit seeks to recover money for Elisha Lemm’s medical bills, to cover future earnings, as well as damages for loss of companionship, and pain and suffering.
The driver of the car was uninjured. The police report says the 22-year-old Poland man drove in an erratic, reckless, careless, negligent or aggressive manner.
The insurance companies are targeted because the lawsuit alleges the car driver was underinsured.
