Delaware Man Charged With Stealing 18 Air Conditioners
Newark, Del., police have arrested a man they say stole 18 scrap air conditioners from a business.
Police were called to the business about 11 p.m. Wednesday. Officers say burglars had cut a fence and once inside a storage yard, stole the air conditioners.
Authorities say an investigation led them to a suspect who had the air conditioners.
Nineteen-year-old Adam Roper of Newark has been charged with theft and other offenses.
Police say they have also obtained a warrant for 37-year-old Ernest Lapointe.
