Maryland Homeowner Charged With Setting House Fire
Maryland fire officials say a woman has been charged with setting fire to a home she owned.
The State Fire Marshal’s Office says 64-year-old Laurinda Lucille May of Middle River was charged Monday with arson and other offenses.
May is charged in a fire on Friday in a home in Galestown. Authorities say a passer-by reported the blaze in the vacant single-story house. Fifteen firefighters battled the blaze, which caused more than $20,000 in damage.
Investigators say the fire was incendiary.
