Damage From New Hampshire Water Main Break Estimated at $50K-$100K
Police say the city of Manchester, New Hampshire, hopes to reopen a road damaged by a water main break within the next two days.
Police said 21 people were evacuated from their homes due to flooding from the water main break Thursday night that caused sink holes to open.
Police said the pipe was repaired Friday, but was still being tested. The cost of damage may run between $50,000 and $100,000.
Goffe Street, from South Main Street and West Hancock Street, was closed to traffic.
