Blaze Hits Central London; No Injuries Reported
Roughly 100 firefighters are battling a rooftop blaze in central London.
The fire at a ten-story building being refurbished on The Strand sent smoke billowing throughout the area.
Officials said Tuesday no injuries have been reported. The building was evacuated.
Residents in the area are being advised to shut their windows to keep smoke out of their apartments.
The cause of the fire has not been determined.
The Strand is a well known street near the River Thames that houses several theaters, Somerset House, and the Royal Courts of Justice.
