People Moves: Integro, Restore Rehabilitation, Navigators, FINEX
International broker and risk management firm Integro Insurance Brokers is challenging the industry’s institutional approach to claims management, by announcing the launch of its Policy Response Unit (PRU), and the appointment of Managing Principal Larry Reback to lead it.
The newly formed unit will continue to advocate proactive claims management, and in the event of a claim, to help in maximizing clients’ financial recovery. Team members of the PRU will also focus on client education and training.
Distinguishing elements of Integro’s Policy Response Unit include:
- Emphasis on a proactive approach and specialty focus through dedicated teams;
- Commitment to ‘contract certainty’, advocating for clear and understandable policy language in an effort to eliminate ambiguity and avoid future contract disputes;
- Early deployment of coverage veterans to review policy terms to help minimize claims as well as coverage disputes in the event a claim is filed.
PRU team leader, San Francisco-based Larry Reback, is a former litigator and coverage attorney with over 25 years’ experience resolving complex claim and coverage disputes. He joined Integro in 2005 and is recognized as a talented public speaker and educator.
Maryland-based Restore Rehabilitation, a medical and vocational case management company focused on reducing the cost of workers’ compensation claims, recently added a clinical quality expert to its leadership team.
As the dynamics of the injured employee, the workplace and the medical community continue to evolve, Restore recognizes the need to develop strategies to ensure the highest quality cost containment strategies. Therefore, Restore has hired Andrea (Andee) Maloney, RN, CCM, to serve as its quality and performance manager.
