Mitchell Medical Claims Division Takes Control of Workflow with Perceptive Vision’s ImageNow
Kansas-based Perceptive Vision, Inc. (PVI) announced the recent implementation of ImageNow document imaging, management and workflow solutions for Mitchell Medical, a division of Mitchell International.
For 18 years, Mitchell Medical has provided the P/C market with a variety of technology, database and service solutions, allowing them to analyze and reprice first- and third-party provider and hospital bills in a timely, accurate and fair manner.
Specifically, ImageNow is deployed within Mitchell Medical’s Service Center – an outsourcing option that provides data entry resources to enter clients’ auto medical claims bills.
“Not only can staff access documents right from their own computers, the Service Center manager can simply pull up the queue on her computer and see the status of all claims bills,” said Jason Carter, project manager at Mitchell Medical. “With the new efficiencies introduced through ImageNow, we can now easily track bills through their entire lifecycle.”
According to Carter, Mitchell customers are requesting document imaging functionality because they are aware of the time and cost benefits it brings to the Service Center and insurers alike. Soon, Mitchell customers will be able to review claims bill analysis results and reference original documents via the Internet using PVI’s WebNow component.
ImageNow is PVI’s flagship document imaging, management and workflow software solution that integrates with any host application to simplify business processes and provide integrated access to digital versions of relevant documents at the point of need.
