GE Commercial Appoints Jones as Claims Leader
Kansas-based GE Commercial Insurance, a division of GE’s Employers Reinsurance Corporation (ERC), announced the appointment of Brian Jones to Claims Leader.
Jones will be responsible for driving the company’s claims strategy, monitoring claim dispositions and overseeing the workload of
regional offices. He will report to Andrea Pearson, ERC’s Global
Claims Leader, and Louis Parker, president and CEO of GE Commercial
Insurance.
“Brian’s appointment underscores our commitment to delivering
world-class customer service,” said Parker. “With his legal,
insurance and Six Sigma quality background, Brian will help us move
the organization ahead where we can truly help our customers do
business more profitably and successfully.”
Jones spent four years in private practice and state government
before joining ERC in 1995 as a claims attorney. Since then, he has
held several claims roles at the company.
Most recently, Jones served as Six Sigma “Master Blackbelt” for the claims team, managing the design of new processes to improve the effectiveness of claims processing.
