Misdemeanor Conviction Means No License for Ill. Man
Illinois Acting Director of Insurance Deirdre K. Manna has denied the insurance producer license of Dennis L. Hartwig of Posen, Ill., effective April 5, 2004.
Hartwig’s license was denied by director’s order from Hearing No. 4093, based on an insurance- related misdemeanor conviction and the failure to repay a loan obtained from a client despite a judgment order from the Cook County Circuit Court.
The director’s order also required Hartwig to come into compliance with the judgment order entered against him and pay the hearing costs within 35 days of the date of the order.
Hartwig may have the right to appeal and request a stay of the order
