Mich. Accident Fund Names Cooper Vice President of Claims Operations
Lansing, Mich.-based Accident Fund Insurance Company of America recently announced that Stephan Cooper has been named vice president of Claims Operations.
In his new role, Cooper directs Accident Fund’s workers’ compensation claims division, serving more than 46,000 policyholders and their employees across the country. Cooper and his team ensure that Accident Fund’s claims services provide compassionate care for injured employees and their families, the company release said.
Cooper has 20 years of experience. He joins Accident Fund from Chicago-based Specialty Underwriters Alliance, where he launched the workers’ compensation claims operations. Cooper’s background also includes leadership positions at General Electric, Metropolitan Life and Travelers.
Headquartered in Lansing, Mich., Accident Fund identifies itself as one of the nation’s leading workers’ compensation insurers, operating in 43 states and the District of Columbia.
