2 19-Year-Olds Arrested in Minnesota Arson Case
Two 19-year-old men from Fosston, Minn. have been arrested as part of an arson investigation.
The Polk County Sheriff’s office said the arrests were made Friday and that the suspects will likely be formally charged with first-degree arson.
The pair is suspected of burning buildings last Sunday in Mahnomen, Polk and Clearwater counties.
Deputy State Fire Marshal Kevin Mahle says similar tire tracks and other links between the fires led investigators to the conclusion that the same individuals set each of the fires.
The Clearwater County Board of Commissioners had offered a $1,500 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the arson fires at B&M Supply, the Leon Town Hall and the Eddy Town Hall.
