Wis. Bowling Alley Owner Pleads Guilty to Arson
The owner of a Fond du Lac bowling alley has pleaded guilty to burning down his business.
Lyle Huss pleaded guilty to one count of arson Tuesday in a plea agreement with Fond du Lac County prosecutors. Fourteen other charges were dismissed, but the judge will consider them at sentencing.
Prosecutors say Huss told investigators the business, Last Stop Lanes, was becoming a financial burden. He was accused of setting it on fire in March 2010.
WLUK-TV says Huss is to be sentenced Oct. 19.
